Imagining oneself completely taken from their element and dropped in the center of a gyrating nebula is the only way one could possibly describe Almyrkvi’s sound. Intense and driving, this band is a storm in the center of the galaxy that pulls everything towards it. Densely shrouded in atmosphere this side of the split portrays the chaos of the universe, plunging the listener into the total unforgiving dark vortex of space.
Pushing the boundaries of black metal towards the esoteric, The Ruins of Beverast made major waves in the underground in 2017. Continuing with the trancelike intensity of Exuvia, this side of the split is like sitting in on a tribal ceremonial sacrifice, ripping the listener’s heart out and placing it on an altar to the gods.
