Although they don’t have much to show for the moment, Grabunhold may very well be one of the strongest black metal bands in the German underground. With this debut EP consisting of three songs and an interlude, the band carve themselves a completely unique niche. Painting themes of tolkein at midnight sandwiched between soaring rock based riffs and massive leads with an almost punk feel, the band’s swift 18 minute premier is an impressive display of what is yet to come.
