Shrouded in a thick veil of mystic eschatology, the anonymous collective known as Irkallian Oracle have stunned people for it’s droning, spiteful death metal. This sophomoric release, “Apollyon” is a fantastic followup to 2013’s “Grave Ekstasis”, showcasing a much more refined approach at their gyre of iconoclastic music. Undulating chords, growls and a neverending plethora of drum accents push against the listener to create a prodigious atmosphere equal to no other band.
