Pushing genre barriers of rock, black metal, post punk and various other styles, Lifelover is a band combining the deranged minds of 3 cult Swedish musicians. Known mostly by their pseudonyms, B, () and 1853 along with instrumentalists LR and H continue where Pulver left off. This Sophomoric album features more clean singing, piano and downtempo sections of rock dysphoria under a much cooler production than it’s predecessor. Focusing more on the depressive atmosphere and featuring more samples, it paints a very dark picture of someone who is completely cut off from the world, hopeless and alone, grief stricken with isolation.
