Seasoned veteran Québec staple, Monarque has been a genre defining member of métal noir Québécois since 2003, when it was a one man project fronted by the musician of the same name. Jusqu’à la mort, the short EP released in 2019 features three all new tracks taking off where Lys Noir left us. Monarque’s archetypal vocals drive home this monumental trio of songs forth much like a captain at the head of a ship.
