Though the members of this band are more well known for their work in the atmospheric black metal band, Drudkh, Rattenfänger is the absolute flip side of the musical coin. Playing much like mechanical and droning death metal bands, this project hits the listener directly in the face with a left hook. This second album, released nearly a decade after the debut record is a monolith of sound, decimating all forces with its harrowing growls, thunderous drums and driving riffs.
