Taking their love for their home country’s poetry and mixing it with their very unique take at an almost retro 80’s sound, She Past Away are the masters of melancholic darkwave with a pop twist. Building on their hypnotic monotonous sound, the band incorporates even more styles of synths to back the dark, brooding vocals, and even features a higher octave at times. Throbbing bass, electronic and often discotech style drums and watery, falanged guitar tend to be the backing track for the goth parade they have created with Narin Yalnızlık.
