Much like the winds carving the shape of a mountain, Turia chill straight to the bone with their desolate black metal. Known only by their first initials, the trio of musicians carve out their own sound with some of the most cold black metal from their region. Pummeling guitars, walking bass and battering drums all push the listener against the elements while the piercing vocals cut like glass against flesh. An album that is very fast paced from start to finish, it contrasts its intensity with short passages of atmosphere, never losing pace.
